Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These are the terms for using Dogweek. We've kept them short and in plain English, because you'd rather be walking the dog than reading a contract.

1. What Dogweek is

Dogweek is a free app that helps your household share a dog-walking schedule, record walks, and keep streaks and stats. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Dogweek. Keep your login to yourself, give us accurate information, and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Dogweek.

3. Acceptable use

Use Dogweek for what it's built for: organizing walks with people you actually know. Don't:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the app.
  • Upload content that's abusive, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share.
  • Try to break, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Impersonate other people (impersonating your dog is fine).

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

Photos, dog profiles, and walk data you add to Dogweek remain yours. You give us permission to store and display that content — only so the app can work for you and your family group. We claim no other rights to it, and we never use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full data story.

5. The service is free

Dogweek is currently free to use. If that ever changes, we'll tell you clearly in advance — nothing will start costing money without your explicit agreement.

6. No warranties

We work hard to keep Dogweek reliable, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We can't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or that GPS will behave in a forest. Dogweek is a scheduling tool — you remain responsible for your dog's care and safety on every walk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dogweek is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months — which, since Dogweek is free, is a strong hint to resolve things amicably.

8. Ending things

You can stop using Dogweek and delete your account (and all your data) at any time from Settings inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — like limitation of liability — do so.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Dogweek after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact
